Dashboard Enhancements for Biller, Coder, and Admin Workflows
Role-Specific Dashboards:
- Biller/Coder Dashboards: Renamed the “Encounters” page to “Billing Opportunities,” introducing enhanced navigation and actionable insights.
- Administrator Dashboards: Allowed flexible layouts with up to nine configurable segments, displaying up to six reports by default, including revenue metrics, physician lists, and system activity feeds.
Encounter Status Tracking:
- Introduced status categories: Reviewed, Not Reviewed, In Progress, On Hold, and Finalized.
- Menu for encounter-level statuses, enabling precise tracking and “work bucket” categorization.
- Ensured status-driven locking mechanisms to prevent data conflicts (e.g., claims marked as “On Hold” or “In Progress” locked against edits or deletion by other users).
Improved Workflow Visibility:
- Integrated headers to indicate total encounters and active opportunities, giving users clear progress metrics.
Auto-refresh functionality for dashboards, with manual refresh options for real-time updates.
Advanced Reporting Capabilities
Customizable Report Creation:
- Developed a five-step report creation process: selecting report types, naming reports, defining data elements, applying filters, and submitting.
Enabled users to generate revenue reports and rules utilization reports, filtering by organization, provider, coder, CPT, payer, and time periods.
Report Scheduling and Favorites:
- Allowed users to schedule reports on a recurring basis (daily, weekly, specific days) with predefined parameters.
- Introduced a “Favorites” section for frequently used reports, enabling quick access and modification of preconfigured settings.
Multi-Level Insights and Drill-Downs:
- Designed reports to provide aggregated and granular views of data, supporting drill-downs from summary metrics to individual claim levels.
- Incorporated filters for precise data isolation, such as undercoded or overcoded claims and demographic errors.
Output Options:
- Provided flexible output options for emailing reports (with size limits and predefined templates) or printing visualized data, including graphs and charts.
