Human Connections Start Here

As an artist and designer, my practice begins with the creation of nonlinear visual systems—layered compositions that operate through fragmentation, disruption, and intertextuality. Influenced by Grunge Graphic Design, Deconstructivist Typography, and collage-based visual practices, my work incorporates distressed textures, fragmented typographic forms, photographic elements, vector geometry, and scanned ephemera. These elements draw from traditions including Swiss Punk, New Wave graphics, and Constructivist poster design while engaging broader postmodern strategies such as visual density, disrupted hierarchy, and the blending of high and low cultural references.Across these visual approaches, I explore themes related to music, culture, environment, mental health, and relationships. Each composition functions as an affective system that reflects complex psychological and social structures, inviting viewers to navigate nonlinear pathways of interpretation rather than fixed narratives.This exploratory, nonlinear practice forms the conceptual starting point for my digital design work. When translating these visual systems into web design, mobile application design, and Sass-based interface architecture, I move deliberately from experimentation toward structured, usable products.Early stages of my process prioritize visual exploration and layered composition to generate ideas and uncover relationships between content, form, and meaning. From this generative phase, I distill the underlying logic of the work into clear interface structures built on modular grids, component systems, and intuitive navigation patterns.This approach aligns with a product design framework centered on creating experiences that are desirable, valuable, viable, and feasible. Expressive visual language contributes to desirability, while structured information architecture and interaction design ensure usability and value for users. Through scalable Sass-based design systems—using variables, mixins, and modular components—I translate these ideas into maintainable, responsive code frameworks that support real-world development and collaboration.Through this process, nonlinear artistic exploration becomes the foundation for structured digital systems, allowing expressive graphic experimentation to evolve into functional, engaging web and mobile products.
